NYSSCA, Addison Eagles Club Presents Christmas In July Bicycle Give-A-Way;Sportsman King of BullRing

Woodhull, NY- A Woodhull Raceway tradition that began two decades ago will continue July 17 with the Christmas in July Bicycle Give Away.


“Over the years we have watched as previous track owners did the bike give away and how well it was received by the kids that come with their parents. With last years COVID 19 Pandemic this event along with every other special that we have normally done for the fans were cancelled, but now things are a lot different and we can welcome back fans and by having the Christmas in July its our way of saying thanks for the kids and their parents for all their support.” That according to Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer.


As part of the Bicycle Give Away several young boys and girls in different age groups will be able to win a bike complements of the track and on the speedway, it will be a regular program featuring all of Woodhull’s eight regular classes of competition and it is all presented by NYSSCA (New York State Stock Car Association) and The Addison Eagles.


The Insinger Performance Modifieds will headline the show as they will be supported by the Cummings Trucking RUSH Late Models and the NAPA Crate Sportsman. Also seeing action will be the Joe Willcox Performance Street Stocks, the Woodhull Auto Supply Hobby Stocks as well as the Big Jim’s Wicked Tee’s sponsored Mini Stocks and Warrior Divisions. The Johnson Auto Supply Front Wheel Drive Class will round out the Great 8 card of events.


Additionally the Addison, Bath, Corning, Hornell and Wellsville and Lawrenceville, Pa. NAPA Stores will present the NAPA Crate Sportsman King of the Ring which will be made up from an earlier season rainout.


Both Pit and Grandstand gates for the July 17 show open at 4:30 with he first green flag waving at 6:30 pm.


Woodhull does offer an Early Bird Special offering $1 off the Adult General Admission price. Discounts are also applied for Senior’s over 62 and kids between the age of 8 and 12 when accompanied by an adult. Kids 7 and under are free with a paid adult.


The New York State Stock Car Association is a race related organization based on the promotion of good will, safety, hall of fame members and betterment of the sport within the New York State Region. Some of the best to ever cinch the belts, turn wrenches or promote race facilities have been inducted into the NYSSCA HoF and they are always looking for new individual members and member tracks. Woodhull Raceway has been actively involved as a member track of the NYSSCA for well over a decade and representatives will be at the track on July 17 enjoying the night of competition.


Joining the NYSSCA will be the Addison Eagles who will return to co-sponsor the show after a July 3 cancellation due to wet grounds after several days of heavy rain leading up to the event.
