Hatfield Real Estate along with S&D Pool Specialists join NAPA as nightly event sponsors of the Great 8 Show.

(Woodhull, NY) Third year Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer will open the month of July in a big way as the NAPA sponsored 602 Crate Sportsman will run their traditional King of the Ring Event.
“When we purchased the track from previous owners, Ted and Brandi White we inherited the popular King of the Ring Events that they began several seasons ago. It began with the Modifieds and then several other classes were added over time. It has been a tremendous success for fans and competitors as it provides great one-on one action, and it also puts some extra cash into the overall winner’s pocket.” That according to Nikki Brewer.
Joining NAPA as nightly marketing partners for the July 2, 2022 event will be Hatfield Real Estate of Elmira along with S and D Pool Specialists in Avoca, NY.
Addison Auto Parts Store owner, Vera Eaker will again join forces with Nate Dunning who is the proprietor of the Corning, Hornell and Wellsville NAPA locations along with Doug and Kim Warner of the Bath NAPA and Geoff Rakoski owner of the Lawrenceville, Pa location to provide the NAPA Crate Sportsman King of the Ring where the winner will receive a beautiful trophy along with a handsome check in the amount of $300.
Eaker, Dunning, the Warners and Rakoski all know full well the support that the race community gives their respective businesses and as part of their aggressive 2022 marketing program they are again extremely pleased to have the NAPA name attached to the Crate Sportsman King of the Ring.

S&D Pool Specialists of Avoca, NY will return to Woodhull for their second consecutive season as a partner and will join NAPA and Hatfield Real Estate for the night of action. Cayden Lawson picked up the win in last season’s NAPA Crate Sportsman King of the Ring event waxing a solid field of machines in the popular one on one single elimination event as he was the last man standing. Lawson along with brother, Blake both won regular feature events in the first half of the 2022 season along with Dave Mayo, Josh Nobriga, AJ Costley, and Isabel Barron. Art Goodier is the only repeat winner thus far. All those drivers and many more will see action in this year’s NAPA Sportsman King of the Ring Event.
Also, on the speedway it will be a Regular Great 8 Show featuring the Insinger Performance Modifieds, the NAPA Crate Sportsman, Armstrong RUSH Crate Late Models along with the Joe Willcox Performance classy looking Street Stocks. A pair of Wicked Tee’s sponsored divisions in the 4 Cylinder Mini Stocks and the Youth Warriors will be in action as well as the Front Wheel Drives and what is considered the most competitive division that races weekly at the track, the Hobby Stock’s.
Gates for both Pit and Grandstand entry open at 4:30 pm.
General Admission price is $13/ and there is a discount for Seniors 62+ and kids 8-12 with an adult. Kids 7 and under are free.
Camping is always free and those bringing along right rigs are encouraged to set up close to the pond as the area closest to the main entrance is reserved for spectator car parking.
