(Woodhull, NY) The Woodhull Raceway will wrap up the month of April on the 30th as Kickin Country 105.3 FM in Hornell, NY will be on board to present a Great 8 Show.

The Insinger Performance Modifieds will headline the eight-card event as they will have a great supporting cast in the NAPA 602 Crate Sportsman and the Armstrong RUSH Crate Late Models. The Joe Willcox Performance Street Stocks and the Hobby Stocks will also be in action seeing which driver can tame the high banked one-third of a mile clay oval. A pair of 4-cylinder classes in the Mini Stocks and the Front Wheel Drives will also do battle as the Youth Woodhull Warriors will also get their turn on the historic Steuben County oval.

Should the Insinger Performance Modified $2,000 to win special that is scheduled for April 23 become lost to Mother Nature it will be made up on Saturday, April 30.

“We are really excited to have representatives of Kickin Country 105.3 FM here at the track as an event sponsor. They have been involved with Woodhull as a marketing partner long before we even purchased the facility three years ago, stated Woodhull Raceway owners, Terry and Niki Brewer. Their involvement runs deep here at Woodhull, and they give the track plenty of exposure on the FM air waves.”

Both pit and grandstand gates for the April 30 event open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30 sharp.

The Woodhull Raceway offers an Early Bird Special offering a dollar off the ticket price for those entering the main grandstand seating area which runs for the first hour after gates open.

Senior Citizens 62+ and kids 8-12 with a paid adult receive a discount on their ticket purchases. Children under 8 are admitted free with an adult.

April has not been kind to Woodhull as the month has been filled with plenty of cold temperatures, rain and snow showers making it impossible to get the facility prepared for competition.

“The racing surface itself is in really good shape, stated the Brewer’s. Problem is the pits and main grandstand parking lots are saturated with water as there has not been particularly good drying conditions thus far. If we just get a few days of sun, wind and some warmer weather things will dry out quickly and we will be back to normal. It is coming, but just taking a little longer than what any of us would like”!
