(WOODHULL) – It’s the date on the calendar race fans and community members from all over New York and Pennsylvania circle every year- Woodhull Raceway's Fireworks Show. This cannot miss event of 2018 is coming up Saturday night, presented by longtime track sponsor Instant Heat Wood Pellets Inc., a division of the Two Rivers Timber Company.
Instant Heat Wood Pellets has been a loyal sponsor to Woodhull Raceway and several race teams for many years and will present the racing action and fireworks on Saturday night. The Addison-based manufacturer of high-quality wood pellets is also the weekly sponsor of Woodhull Raceway’s Victory Lane.
Instant Heat Wood Pellets manufactures high-quality wood pellets that are produced from top quality, 100% pure wood fiber byproducts. The Fireworks Show will take place during the regular racing program, when it becomes dark enough to do so successfully. For weekly fans, the night’s schedule won’t seem much different. Racing activities will go on like normal, however when it becomes dark enough to hold the fireworks the next feature’s green flag will be held until the conclusion of the fireworks.
Woodhull Raceway owners and promoters Ted and Brandi White are proud to offer this amazing show at an even more amazing value of just $13 for general admission for ages 13 and up. Senior tickets (ages 65+) as well as ages 8-12 will be just $7. Children 7 & under are always FREE at Woodhull Raceway and there will be FREE camping all weekend long.
Drivers will not see a difference in pit passes for this week, with the price reflecting the $30 admission fee of a normal race week. Presale tickets for the grandstands will be on sale from 2pm-5pm on Friday afternoon and 10am-12pm on Saturday morning outside the box office. Presale tickets are the same price, however fans have the chance to reserve their favorite seat Friday and Saturday for $5 per seat. Also on tap Saturday will be the world renowned Woodhull Fire Department Chicken Barbecue that will be sold when gates open at 3:30 in the afternoon. Racing will start at 6:30 with the Modified heats.
The Street Stock Clash For Cash for the month of June will be held after the last heat race and the 2018 winner of the Little Miss/Little Mister Woodhull competition will be announced as well. Contestants have collected non-perishable food items for weeks now as 'votes' with a large number of food items being donated to the Woodhull Food Pantry last weekend.
