(WOODHULL) – Saturday night will see Troups Creek Auto Parts host the racing action at Ted and Brandi White’s Woodhull Raceway. This special event will also see the SWL Awards 360 Late Models take center stage as they will compete in their annual ‘King of the Ring’ event.
This ‘knock out’ style competition stages two Late Model competitors going head-to-head until there are just two drivers left to race one-on-one. That championship race will determine who is the 360 Late Model ‘King of the Ring’. A fan favorite event every year at “New York’s Toughest Bullring.”
Bruce Miller has been the ‘King’ of the 360 Late Model division so far in 2016, but Glenn Whritenour and Kurt Stebbins have been rapidly closing in on Miller for supremacy.
Stebbins is fresh off his second career Late Model victory this past Saturday, which will have the Wellsville, NY pilot’s confidence as high as ever going into King of the Ring night. Miller and Whritenour also battled for the win with Stebbins on Saturday night in a classic battle.
Another driver to not overlook on Saturday has yet to break into the win column in 2016. Steve LaBarron in the Troups Creek Auto Parts No. 29 has been oh so close on several occasions. Could his sponsor’s night at the track be the perfect time to remove that goose egg in the “W” column?

Fans can find their way into the grandstands Saturday at 4:30 for only $12 for adults 13 and up. Seniors and ages 8-12 will be $6. Children 7 and under are always free at Woodhull Raceway.
Our weekly Early Bird Special runs from 4:30pm-5:30pm and offers $1 off general admission. Woodhull Raceway offers plenty of space for free camping on site. The green flag for the first set of heat races will be dropped by Scott Lyon at 6:30pm.
