CONTINGENCY MONIES SPLIT AMONG NUMEROUS 360 LATE MODEL DRIVERS AT THE RECENTLY HELD SCOTT DENNISON MEMORIAL EVENT AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY.
Jeremy Wonderling captures 5th Annual Dennison Memorial Event on May 9, 2009. (Woodhull, NY) Jeremy Wonderling walked off with a cool $1,000 by winning the recently held Scott Dennison Memorial for the 360 Late Model Division at the Woodhull Raceway. Due to the large car count track owner, Vern Wasson upped the winners share from $400 to $600 and with an additional $400 from Doug Gross Construction Wonderling was able to boast one of his largest pay days. Doug Gross also posted an additional $600 in post race contingencies bringing their total sponsorship to $1,000 for the annual affair. “We could not put on a show of this caliber without the continued support of Larry and Janice Knowles of Doug Gross Construction, stated Woodhull Raceway owner, Vern Wasson. Each year this event continues to grow and it’s because of the support we receive from the Knowles Family along with the competing drivers, additional sponsors and race fans.” Highest finishing Woodhull Raceway non-winner, Dave Dubois. $200 compliments of Doug Gross Construction. Hard Luck Award, John Waters. $100 compliments of Doug Gross Construction with additional money from Carquest. Driver traveling the furthest distance, Jon Rivers. $50 compliments of Doug Gross Construction. Best Move of the Race, Mike Wonderling. $50 compliments of Doug Gross Consrtuction. Hard Charger Award, Steve Hartman Jr. $200 compliments of Doug Gross Construction, $25 compliments of Tom Ames of the Dirt Track Digest in addition to additional money posted by Joe Willcox Performance Automatics and Capt N Crud aka Dave Horton. In addition $1,700 in lap money was distributed to nearly every driver in the 24 car starting field.
